If you're trying to unlock the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in Forza Horizon 6, the process is actually pretty straightforward once you know where to look. Like the other Treasure Cars in the game, this one is hidden somewhere on the Japan-inspired map, and the game only gives you a small clue to work with.

I spent a while driving around the wrong side of the golf course before finally finding it, so here’s a clean step-by-step guide that should save you some time.

Step 1: Trigger the Treasure Car Hunt

First, you need to activate the Treasure Car search itself.

Open the main menu and head into the Cars tab. From there, select Treasure Cars to see the currently available hints.

The clue for the Dodge Charger R/T says:

“This American classic has been spotted out the back of the Minamino region's golf course clubhouse. Use the photo to find it.”

Once the clue appears, drive into the Minamino Region. The car usually will not spawn properly until you physically enter the area, so don’t skip this part.

After entering the region, you can begin the actual search.

Step 2: Head to the Naruo Golf Course

Open the world map and focus on the middle section of the Minamino Region.

You should notice a vertical river cutting through the area. Near that river is the Naruo Golf Course, which is the location tied to the treasure clue.

Set a waypoint there and follow the paved road running along the eastern side of the course. Staying on the road makes navigation much easier because the golf course itself has a lot of open terrain that can get confusing fast.

If you are approaching from the wrong side, it’s easy to miss the small access path where the hidden car is located.

Step 3: Find the Convenience Store Near the Entrance

When you reach the golf course entrance area, slow down and look carefully around the front gates.

You should spot a small 365 Convenience Store near the entrance road. This building is the real landmark you need, not the clubhouse itself.

A lot of players immediately drive onto the golf course looking for the Charger, but the car is actually hidden behind the nearby building area instead.

Stay near the store and avoid heading onto the grass yet.

Step 4: Drive Behind the Building

Now for the final part.

Drive around the right-hand side of the convenience store and look for a narrow path between the building and the fence line.

The path is easy to miss at high speed, especially at night or during bad weather. Take it slowly.

Follow the narrow lane all the way to the back until you reach a small service area with a few outbuildings. You should see an old abandoned-looking vehicle sitting there covered in dirt.

Approach the car to trigger the discovery cutscene.

After the short animation plays, the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T will be restored and permanently added to your garage.

Definitely. Even with all the modern hypercars in Forza Horizon 6, the classic Charger stands out because of its raw muscle car feel and aggressive styling.
