Why would it not show up in the cpit? If you attach the mesh of the LED to one of the headlight meshes they are visible. I can see the headlights from cpit view too.

U see only the shine of the headlights cause they are not a material!

Did u tested this method or is it just your theory? I never saw a mod witch used this and i tried everything but didn´t work!

OK, nope I did not test it for the cpit but the tail lights of my mod work on that way. I have to go to my work now.. I will check it tomorrow first thing if it works here.

Sorry if inborn but is just my curiosity: which is the procedure that rFactor uses in order to illuminate the led of the fuel when it's exausted? Why cannot be applied the same procedure to the beacons?

Simple cause it´s not hardcoded into the game! There are some actions programmed in the game like shift LED´s, Fuel empty and so and some are not coded like light on/off! That´s just simple! Whats not programmed into the game doesn´t run!

Hmm, I tested it and you are right... The game ignors the materials with HLGLOW in the name, even if I attach the LED to the CPIT mesh. It's a pity that it does not work for the cpit but we won't miss it I think.
